The ERC Communities team consists of seasoned professionals with decades of experience in private equity, specialty finance, real estate development, and alternative investments. Our goal is to drive greater value and results while spearheading the growing market of rentable homes.

ERC’s two founding shareholders bring extensive experience in real estate development, management, institutional equity and debt finance, land entitlement, design, and construction management.

Gerald Ellenburg

Investments that Matter.

Gerald “Jerry” has 40-years of experience in real estate, finance, development, ownership, and operation of single and multi-family properties.

His experience includes:

Co-Founder and Chairman of e Residential and Commercial, LLC and affiliated companies, a homebuilding and renovation / resale company that oversaw the construction and renovation of approximately 200 homes in Florida
Founder and General Partner of Ell-Cap Manufactured Home Communities; acquired over 100 properties totaling more than 40,000 rental units across 26 states. Principal in over $900 million of transaction value

Jerry is a California licensed CPA with BS from University of California, Berkeley. He currently serves as the Chairman of Golfsuites, Inc. a golf-oriented entertainment and real estate company.

Ryan T. Keonig

President and Chief Operating Officer

Ryan has 25-years of experience in real estate development, general contracting, and construction management in single-family, multi-family, and commercial real estate.

His experience includes:

Development and construction experience with Zaremba Development – Cleveland, Camden Construction – Dallas, Wood Partners – Atlanta, and B, J, & K Construction – Ft. Lauderdale
Co-Founder and President of e Residential and Commercial, LLC and affiliated companies, a homebuilding and renovation / resale company that oversaw the construction and renovation of approximately 200 homes in Florida.

He has completed transactions totaling approximately $600+ million of value and currently serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer of ERC Communities.
